I love this template - thanks! One nagging issue. I want to have some padding between paragraphs (there doesn't appear to be any in template default) yet when I change the padding setting (custom.css, line 21) it fixes the paragraph padding and adds padding around the slide show which looks terrible. How can I add padding between the paragraphs without messing up the slide layout?

Add:
.slider_area p {padding:0; margin:0;}

at the end of the custom.css file.
That will remove any spaces from the p tag(s) in the slider area only.
